Our desire is to help make active members of society and our youth is the next generation to enter into that responsibility. We provide quality programs to help our local youth create realistic goals and utilize the resources to accomplish them.
WIRED Study Club: For 7th-12th grade. Every hour spent at the coffeehouse READING, STUDYING, or doing HOMEWORK is logged. Every 15 hours (points) spent there being productive, student receives a free drink.
Students participants get to participate in additional incentive programs. (WIRED Summer Book Club, WIRED Together, etc) To sign up for the club, stop in the coffeehouse and talk to a barista!
WIRED Together Mentor Program: WIRED Together at Mayville Open Door Inc focuses on life skills development in student’s lives and their role in becoming an active member of society.
Wired Together program was developed in efforts to assist, guide and walk next to young people in their life journey. We recognize that they are our future, and mentorship has proven to be a successful tool in helping others lead productive lives. To sign up for this program, stop in at the coffeehouse and talk to a barista.
Volunteerism: We provide opportunities for youth to volunteer at the coffeehouse and to receive work experience and mentorship from our experienced staff. To volunteer, fill out our form at the Volunteer Page.
Spotlight Night for Teens: Held many times throughout the year, we use this night to spotlight local teen’s gifts. Evenings can include an open mic night, photography or art gallery, poetry reading, etc. Follow our Facebook Page to find the next Spotlight Night.
